  • Channel 9 programs dating back to the 1960s on film and a variety of tape formats. Mostly complete programs only, but some current affairs programs also include camera tapes. News stories back to 1956, including all scripts in more recent years, 1956-present
  • Some publicity material for Channel 9 programs, including media releases and photographs
  • Melbourne (GTV) has a collection of early kine (telerecorded) material. This is held in storage, though there is a card catalogue at the station.

There is no space or staff to deal with outside researchers. News items can be viewed on ITN Source.

Any requests for information about material in Melbourne and other 9 Network stations must go through Sydney.

The National Film and Sound Archive holds an extensive collection of 9 Network program material, which is in the process of being catalogued.
