Ken Guy worked as a journalist for 40 years, mostly in radio, but including 8 years in television. He also spent 2 years as a reporter in London.

Ken Guy has written a memoir about his career: "One Voice Among Many" (2009). This is held at the National Film and Sound Archive, which also has some of Ken Guy’s radio work, as well as an oral history recorded with him in 1996.
