History
In March 2001 the Centre awarded the first Australian religious poetry prize of $5,000 to Jennifer Gordon of Victoria. The Romanos the Melodist Poetry Prize was presented and sponsored by His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos of the Greek Orthodox Church.
