The Watermark Fellowship was for an emerging nature writer. The prize included a three week residency in Camden Haven, NSW.

TheWatermark Literary Fellowship is offered once every two years. The Fellowship offers 'a residency of up to three months for an emerging Australian or New Zealand writer whose work focuses on the literature of nature and place.'
