Sanctuary is a Canadian science-fiction television program, created by Australian-born script-writer and producer Damian Kindler. Kindler began Sanctuary as a web series, the eight episodes of which (all scripted by Kindler) were released online between 14 March and 30 August 2007. The eight webisodes formed the basis of the first two stories of series one, once American cable channel Syfy, seeing the success of the web series, picked the program up for a thirteen-episode season.

Sanctuary has currently run through four seasons, excluding the initial webisodes. Kindler is the only Australian script-writer for the program.

And after hiring a new gardener, Violet indeed disappears. Her friends and neighbors suspect that she has been killed by her heir, but her niece, Helen, combs the countryside to determine her aunt's fate.

The developers who wish to turn an apartment building into a skyscraper have not counted on the presence of Mrs Gilling.

'A shy, young society woman of San Francisco's exclusive Nob Hill disappears on the night of her engagement and search for her, extending over 20 years, has its end in "Whereabouts Unknown," starring MacDonald Carey, Jan Sterling and Kim Hunter. In the teleplay by Sumner Locke Elliott, Miss Hunter plays the role of Louise Marden, the girl to whom Howard Crane (Carey) is engaged and who disappears. Jan Sterling is cast as Brenda Stevens, the girl he finally marries after years of fruitless search convinces him Louise is dead.'
