1 Finding My Belonging Ceane G. Towers , 2018 single work life story
— Appears in: Growing Up Aboriginal in Australia 2018; (p. 244-248)

'It was in the early hours of the morning of 22 December 1972 that my mother gave birth to her 'Little Ray of Sunshine' - Mum used to sing that song to me she told me. I was the first daughter resulting from her marriage to my dad, although she had two boys before me. Mum had finally met the man who would provide her with the security to raise a family and who would love her unconditionally 'til death do them part. Which is actually what happened.'  (Introduction)
