In 2005 'the Victorian Government sent one of Australia's worst paedophiles to live in a house at 137 Kent St Flemington'. The house was close to where journalist Margaret Simons was living at the time. It was also on the route of a community 'walking bus' where children walked each school day. In this essay Simons traces her investigation of how the house was chosen by Victoria's Department of Justice and her legal action in response to the choice.
