The 22nd novel in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, The Last Continent is set in a version of Australia, the continent of 'Fourecks' (XXXX).

The novel contains a wide range of Australian references: for example, the protagonist Rincewind is aided by a magicla kangaroo, becomes the hero of a ballad very like 'Waltzing Matilda', and invents vegemite, the cork hat, and 'Peach Nellie'.
