The Bibliography of Australian Literature Project has been a long-term project of the National Centre for Australian Studies at Monash University and The University Of Queensland, whose former Vice-Chancellor, Professor John Hay, is the co-General Editor of the work.

The General Editors of The Bibliography of Australian Literature are John Arnold and John Hay. Associate Editors are Kerry Kilner and Terence O'Neill. The Bibliography has been compiled by members of the AustLit team. It has been a truly collaborative project spanning many years and many team members.
