AustLit

The Bibliography has been compiled using a wide variety of bibliographic and biographical sources. Among the works consulted were all previously published bibliographies of Australian literature, the Australian Dictionary of Biography, Who's Who and other biographical reference works, companions to literature, histories of publishing in Australia, library catalogues, the National Bibliographic Database via Libraries Australia, manuscript collections at the National Library, the Mitchell Library at the State Library of NSW, the Fryer Library at The University of Queensland , which has given unfettered access to its excellent collection of Australiana, the catalogues of various European, British and United States national and regional libraries and many other individual works.
