BiographyHistory

Formed as a pop band from the amalgamation of two previous Perth groups (The Spektors and The Winstons), The Valentines later took a turn towards rock music, but found it difficult to agree on musical direction, and disbanded in 1970.

As well as drummer and sometime vocalist Bon Scott, the band included Vince Lovegrove, who later became a music journalist and manager for the Divinyls.
