BiographyHistory

Australian musician and composer. In 2022, he published a memoir, Nina Simone's Gum.

He has been a member of the rock groups Dirty Three and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and with the band Grinderman until its disbandment in 2013. He has also composed film scores with long-time collaborator and band-mate Nick Cave.
