BiographyHistory

Daughter of William Kither, Hilda Kither lived in Glenelg, South Australia. Little is known about her, but it is known that William Kither took over his father's trade as a butcher in Rundle Street, Adelaide. He was a successful property-owner and businessman; a member of the City Council and an alderman. He was also well-known as a benefactor, and ran a soup kitchen in Adelaide for the needy.
