'This creative work explores the relationship between narrative form and sexuality. It
presents a dual narrative: one which uses proper nouns and dialogue and another
which eschews both of these devices. Through this creative exploration, it asks: what
are the narrative and formal implications of writing about heterosexual and
homosexual 'courtship'? Which narrative form is the more limiting for characters'
agency?' (Author's abstract)
