AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A quarterly journal of science fiction published in France, Galaxies was initially published between May 1996 and October 2007 (totalling 41 number issues). Three special editions were also published - Utopia, The Universe and Hyperfuturs Science Fiction. The founding editor was Stephanie Nicot.

A second version of Galaxies was established in 2008 after fans and members of the Frenbch science fiction community came together to try and revive the magazine. Eventually Pierre Gevart, creator and editor of the fanzine Geante Rouge (Red Giant), stepped and took over its management.
