This short story describes a tragic romance between two lovers. The man leaves his girlfriend named E because he doesn't think she will make a good wife. He finds another woman A as a marriage candidate, but deep down he still loves his ex-girlfriend. E grieves over her unrequited love and eventually chooses to commit suicide.
