A column canvassing current literary news including the demise and closure of Borders, Peter Temple's delivery of the first Miles Franklin Oration, the departure of Rod Morrison from Picado,r the publisher of Kim Scott's That Deadman Dance and Peter Salmon, one of the duo behind the satirical Blue Newsletter, sent a few years ago, electronically and anonymously to people in the publishing industry and later published as Uncorrected Proof (2005).
