P.), which relates the problem that was faced by 'the judges appointed to decide the one-act play competition organised by Mrs Carrie Tennant [q.v.] at the Community Playhouse in Sydney...One of the prizes was for the best Australian play, and the problem was - what constituted a play Australian?'
