  • A third letter to the editor of the South Australian Magazine about the poem The Spirit of the Murray. In this correspondence, 'Cique' states that the poetry is a translation of the songs of the indigenous people of the Murray River and not 'the creations of his [the poet's] own fancy'.
  • Letter dated: Adelaide, July 20th, 1842
