The Song of Songs, Lesley Williams , single work short story
A composer's wife with an over-sentimental view of marital fidelity is surprised when she refuses a request to broadcast a song written supposedly for her alone, only to hear it sung by someone else with the same claim, and then discover at least ten other women with copies. She then abandons her illusion and briskly burns the rest of her marital mementoes.
