Contains a half-page photograph of Katharine Susannah Prichard with her husband Captain Hugo Throssell and their young son. The accompanying caption reads: '...Katharine Susannah Prichard (Mrs Throssell) is the winner of the recent "Art in Australia" short story competition. She is a writer of great power and distinction, and has already published a number of books, one of which won the Hodder & Stoughton [1000 pound] prize. At present, she is busy with a new novel, "Working Bullocks", which she hopes to complete this year. Miss Prichard's story ['The Grey Horse'] will appear in the December number of "Art in Australia".' (p. 35)
