  • Editors' note: 'News from the Schools', State Schools' War Relief Fund total for September was 3,660 pounds. During September over 7,000 articles made in schools were sent to the Red Cross and 4,000 to the Comforts Fund. More than a thousand schools are helping in the war by buying war savings certificates and 330 schools have formed Social Service Leagues.
