Conrad provides biographic and bibliographic information on I. Allan Sealy, author of The Trotter-Nama and Hero. Born in Allahabad, India, Sealy completed his masters degree at Western Michigan University, then migrated to Australia with his parents. He tutored for a time at Sydney University. Although Sealy has been living in New Zealand, he has maintained his Australian resident status, and shares his time between New Zealand and India. Conrad notes that Sealy has retained a 'special feeling for the Australian landscape' (386).
