This play was commissioned by the Queensland Government through the Queensland Arts Council, to commemorate the new consolidated Constitution of Queensland 2001 and to challenge young people, their parents and their teachers to know and understand our system of government and their ability to participate in it as active citizens.

Premiered by the Queensland Arts Council at the Bundamba State High School, Ipswich on Queensland Day, June 6 2002.

The 2002 season toured throughout regional Queenslnd, concluding in Townsville in September, to coincide with Queensland Parliament sitting in North Queensland - the first ever parliamentary sitting outside Brisbane.
