AbstractHistoryArchive Description

From author's foreword: 'To my knowledge, Dreamtime Moon is the first subject-specific book of Aboriginal myths, save for a few specialist studies of the Rainbow Serpent. It is a book for the general reader. Its main aims are to recount a representative selection of Aboriginal myths about the Moon, to examine the fascinating themes they contain, to comment on parallels from other cultures, and to encourage readers to discover, or rediscover, the wonder of the living landscape that surrounds them' (7).
