Pleasant lively romance. An eager Irish-Jewish clerk in a London solicitor's firm introduces his employer to a beautiful but poor young lady who the latter befriended falls in love with. They are separated for a time when it is discovered she is the niece of a rich and titled lady - but true love and the clerk's perseverance with the help of a match-making gentlewoman eventually unites the lovers - despite a titled suitor and their class differences.
