While the author of the book was given as Jane Carlson, it should have read 'Jaye Francis', a pseudonym used by Jenny Pausacker. This led to the erroneous assumption that 'Jane Carlson', was another writing name of Jenny Pausacker's.
Jane Carlson (q.v.) is in fact another Dolly Fiction writer. Jenny explains: 'The books [Dolly Fiction] were published two by two and at one point the author attributions got muddled, so I ended up with Jane Carlson on Change of Heart [1989] and she got Jaye Francis on her book.'
