'Max is growing to the max! And he's a natural athlete. Basketball, cricket, football - you name it! When Max's friends persuade him he has to play the giant, Gulliver, in the local production of 'Gulliver's Travels', everyone discovers he's a born actor, stilts and all!
'But Max is finding out that being a natural can be a curse - everyone wants a piece of him. Talent scouts want him - will it be the special training squad for footy or cricket, or a life with the Bizarre Theatre Company. Then Max gets an offer to play basketball in America. When the local media get hold of it, they start a big campaign to keep him in Australia . . . the pressure is on. Max has to make a decision - and soon!' (Publication summary)
