Collection of poems, prose anecdotes, quotations, aphorism and apothegems from Tyson's daily radio program The Hospital Half Hour which he hosted on ABC radio from 1949. Some of the items are authored by Tyson, others from a variety of unnamed sources. According to his introduction 'some are my own - from exactly where they've all arrived, I couldn't say.'
