Lorna,

A monologue delivered by Lorna, a single alcoholic mother who is blind. She is on trial for child neglect after she called the police reporting her missing daughter, Ruby. Ruby turns out to have collapsed in a closet at home, malnourished and with scarlet fever. Lorna defends herself in court.
