BiographyHistory

Born in Tasmania, Trevor Byard contracted polio as a boy. He moved to Melbourne where he studied at the University of Melbourne, graduating in Arts. He also gained a Diploma in Education. Byard served in Methodist, and later Uniting Church in Australia, parishes for over forty years in Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia. He was also involved with Freemasons and Rotary.
