BiographyHistory

'From the age of sixteen Nick has lived in Sydney, Melbourne and various towns along the East Coast. In North East Victoria he picked tobacco for a few seasons, where he lived a cosy existence with the other pickers in a timber hut in the mountains. In Melbourne, where he lived for two years, he had a short story and two poems published, received an award at a poetry competition and did proof reading with the Big Issue. He has worked on a number of community projects including as an assistant sound technician with Vision Australia, doing camera work for the documentary 'Breaking The Cycle' and working as a sound, lighting and research assistant on another documentary 'Unzip'. Nick was one of the organisers of Festival In The Park, a youth art and literature exhibition and a forum which helped secure a full-time youth worker with the local Albury council. Nick is now based in Albury, where he writes short stories and poetry...' (Source : Murray Time website)
