BiographyHistory

Richard Morecroft is best known as news presenter for ABC television in New South Wales and the ACT. Before moving to Sydney in 1982, he was presenter of the current affairs program 'Nationwide' in South Australia. Morecroft has frequently been involved in other broadcasting projects, covering a wide range from radio and TV education programmes to election night specials. These include his years as host of 'Behind the News'. With a strong interest in wildlife and the environment he has been able to translate some of that commitment into television programmes and books.
