BiographyHistory

Sarah Chinnery was born in Ireland but lived in England from the age of thirteen. She married the Australian anthropologist Pearson Chinnery, and they lived in Papua New Guinea from 1921-1937 before moving toAustralia. She wrote for newspapers and journals, often under pseudonyms.
