BiographyHistory

Karen Silkwood was union activist and a chemical technician at the Kerr-McGee energy plant in Oklahoma, USA. Silkwood raised health concerns about nuclear contamination at the Kerr-McGee plant. She died en route to a meeting with a New York Times journalist.
