BiographyHistory

In Australia, Umran Baran was the editor of the Turkish newspaper, Yorum, from 1977 to 1992. From 1979 to 1980 he was the coordinator of radio programs mainly on art and literature for the Sydney Turkish People's House on Radio 2SER FM. From 1978 he read his poems on literature nights at the Sydney Turkish People's House.
