BiographyHistory

Bernardo Burgos grew up during the Spanish Civil War. His father was imprisoned and he, his mother and his siblings were forced to move from province to province. He moved to Melbourne in 1962. Burgos has published poetry in anthology and is also a painter. (From Over the Horizon, p. 53.)
