BiographyHistory

In addition to writing children's literature, Leila Harris has also co-written with her husband, Walter Kilroy Harris (q.v.), a number of guides to Australia for children, including It Happened in Australia (1936), Blackfellow Bundi : A Native Australian Boy (1939), and Sunny Australia (1941). Whereas Captain Kilroy Harris was Australian, his wife was a former Canadian school teacher.
