ACB(1) lists The Sandman and Other Fairy Stories [1946] with note regarding the variant spelling of Skiller's christian name; 'Author's name spelt "Allan" on t.p., but "Alan" on cover.' (Source: Marcie Muir and Kerry White Australian Children's Books, 1992-2004)
Research indicates that the spelling on the title page involved a typographical error, as subsequent publications have represented the author's name as 'Alan'.
