BiographyHistory

Chuck McKenzie completed a BA in Professional Writing and Literature at Deakin University in 1993. Prior to taking up writing, he worked as a performing waiter, commercial artist, tele-marketer, entertainment consultant, restaurant manager, professional actor, retail assistant, and club DJ.

McKenzie's publishing credits include the SF comedy novel Worlds Apart (1999), as well as short stories and articles for The Age, Altair, Aurealis, AntipodeanSF, Agog! Fantastic Fiction, Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine, Borderlands, Elsewhere : An Anthology of Incredible Places, Orb and Passing Strange. His first science fiction stage play, 'Millennium', was performed at the Powerhouse Theatre in February 1994.
