BiographyHistory

Harrison Young was born in Pittsburg, studied at Harvard University and worked on the Washington Post He was conscripted into the US army, served in Vietnam and then began a career in banking. Young was the non-executive director of the Commonwealth Bank, and executive-in-residence at the University of Melbourne’s Department of Finance. He moved to Toorak in Melbourne in 2003, when he was appointed chairman of Morgan Stanley Australia.
