BiographyHistory

Bundubundu had lived at Nagalarramba, Northern Territory during the mid 1900s, he was also known as 'Jockey' (Oondabund). He spoke a number of languages and worked as a Patrol Officer's assistant. Bundubundu had also once acted as an interpreter in a court case in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. In 1949, Bundubundu and his brother Naliba took part in setting up a Trading Post at Maningda, which traded in crocodile skins, basketwork, trepang and other marine products. Bundubundu is Lena Djabbiba's father.
