Lydia Howard Sigourney was an American poet whose work was sometimes published in nineteenth-century Australian newspapers, including the Colonist, the Melbourne Leader, the Temperance Advocate and Australasian Commercial and Agricultural Intelligencer and the Teetotaller and General Newspaper.
