BiographyHistory

Growing up on the Carnarvon Aboriginal Reserve, Omah was the son of Husson Bananally who was a Malayan man in the pearling industry. He married young and his wife who was from Port Hedland passed away. Upon his return, Omah worked in various employment positions around different stations until he became a stockman in Minilya. A man named Charlie Dingo saved the life of Omah when he was rescued from being trampled by a bull.
