BiographyHistory

Cheri Yavu-Kama-Harathunian is a Senior Elder of a Kabi-Kabi clan/family group from Cherbourg, Queensland. She is the Coordinator of Central Queensland University's Bundaberg Nulloo Yumbah Learning Spirituality and Research Centre. During her work and study, Cheri Yavu-Kama-Harathunian has spent time in Great Britain, the USA, Kenya, Swaziland, South Africa, Thailand, Malaysia, Burma, and Singapore. Cheri Yavu-Kama-Harathunian holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (Indigenous Community Health) and a Masters degree (Criminal Justice).
