BiographyHistory

Dale Lorna Jacobsen has been a regular contributor to Country Viewpoint on Radio National's Bush Telegraph, and has also written articles for Traveltime, the onboard magazine for Greyhound Australia, and for monthly magazine Hinterland Times, for which she was a regular feature writer between 2013 and 2018.

In addition to works indexed on AustLit, she has also published a substantial quantitiy of non-fiction works, including memoirs and works of local history: these include Teutoberg to Witta: How European Settlement Helped Make Maleny (2022) and Birds of Toohey Forest: A Checklist with Dr Carla Catterall (1991).

Her work has been supported and awarded by organisations including Arts Queensland (mentorship for the Union Jack manuscript) and regional organisations (including a Council Regional New Writers Scholarship for the Yenohan's Legacy manuscript).
