'Wide interest is being shown in the forthcoming second Australian Radio Drama Week, to be held by the Australian Broadcasting Commission from May 8 to May 14. Practically all of the eight authors to be represented are well known to the commission's play department. The festival will be opened at 6.30 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, by the Federal Controller of Productions, Mr. P. D. Clewlow. who, during his remarks, will extend an invitation to listeners, who are prepared to form themselves into a Radio Drama Listening Panel, to comment regularly on plays broadcast from national stations...'
