'When we first met it was a bright night. The moon was full, and the stars were twinkling. Even birds were singing. He was sitting outside beside the fire with my caaz (cousin). The wind spread a cooling breeze. It had rained all day and the earth was breathing. I could smell the smoke from the burning wood while I was in the kitchen preparing my caaz’s favourite food.'
