'Finally we reach the McArthur River at a point forty kilometres west of Borroloola, at the river's beginnings. Here we planned to meet Dad's traditional brother Owentji and his wife Idalah. They showed us a traditional welcome and invited us into their camp to stay as long as we liked. After resting for two days, taking small excursions of billabong fishing, hunting and prospecting the hills, we generally relaxed after our long trip from the Alice...' (Abstract)
