'Kim Akerman is an Adjunct Professor with the University of Western Australia's Archaeology Unit; he also sits on the Advisory Committee of the Centre fro Rock Art Research and Managemant, at UWA, and the Scientific Advisory Committee to the Kimberley Foundation of Australia. He has served as a member of the Research Advisory Committee of the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies.'
